San Diego Baby!

At the end of June we went on a little vacation to Gorgeous San Diego! It was a blast and we are ready to go back.

First stop: THE BEACH!

The water was too cold for me to play in, but Ian and Boston had a lot of fun!

This is a picture of Boston with sand all over his mouth. He didn't mind though!

This was the best way to keep Boston contained!

Next Adventure: Trolley Tour and San Diego Temple
The Trolley Tour was a lot of fun. Who would've thought those things can go 60 miles per hour on the freeway! Totally wasn't expecting that, yeah my hair looked like a rats nest after that, but it was still a lot of fun. It took about two hours to do the entire tour of San Diego if you didn't get off the trolley. Boston did so well on the trolley, that we didn't get off, but we were still able to see many interesting things, and the next time we go back to San Diego we will do the tour again but get off and visit some of the sites.

The San Diego Temple is a beautiful temple. We met a missionary couple there who are from Sunny St George that live not far from us. Small world. This temple didn't have a Visitor's Center which was a little disappointing, but that grounds were beautiful and Boston still had fun running around. Any chance he got to get out of his car seat made him a happy boy.

Wrapping the vacation up at LEGOLAND!
Legoland was neat to visit. It was neat to see all of the buildings, animals, objects made out of legos.
It was neat to walk through the mini land USA area, because the buildings had moving parts. The train moved around the track, which Boston LOVED. The Vegas Strip hotels had dolphins doing flips, cannons going off at Treasure Island, diesels and cars driving through the area, and all made of LEGOS. There were drag races from Indianapolis 500, Mardi Gras parties going on in New Orleans, boats floating around the harbor. You just have to check LEGOLAND out when you get a chance.

We also took Boston on a few rides. He was still a little too young to really understand what was going on. He hated waiting in line and then when the ride was over he wasn't, so he always walked away upset.
Now the sad face! Poor boy, his heart was broke many times that day.

We also spent some time at the Aquarium, and Boston really enjoyed this too. It was neat to see all the different ocean creatures.

By the end of the day we finally realized what would make Boston the most happy. Pushing his dang stroller, if we were smarter parents we could have saved ourselves a couple hundred dollars. Oh well, Ian and I still enjoyed LEGOLAND, and we will probably visit again when Boston has a better understanding of theme parks and can enjoy ALL of the rides.

Our vacation was great. Not long enough, but some people have to make money in order to spend it, so it had to end sometime, plus we had to get back home to spend time with Jane; and Jacob, we will post those adventures later.
Boston did great travelling. Our hotel room was massive so Boston had plenty of room to run around there, and we look forward to the day when we can return.
